Hi!
I’m Emma Rock from Bethesda, MD and I have been playing field hockey since 5th grade. I love traveling and meeting new people and have been lucky to play all over the U.S., in Argentina, The Netherlands, and South Africa. Meeting new field hockey friends around the world and being coached in different environments has opened my mind to so much more than just the game. The people I’ve met through field hockey lift me, drive my passion, and give me purpose. In my travels I've met so many special players, many who do not have the resources they deserve. I want to help these friends, and their friends, have the chance to play to their highest ability, to have fields to play on and the equipment they need, and to train with great coaches around the world. The people I meet and the friends I make are the reason I love playing, and have inspired me to try to give back to the sport I love. I set up this website with the idea of connecting supporting foundations with the players who need them most.

Field Foster International is dedicated to expanding the traditional limits of field hockey and fostering the growth and empowerment of female athletes around the globe. My mission is to connect organizations that provide young women, especially in underprivileged and developing regions, with the essential resources they need to excel in field hockey.
